What is a Re-Stocking Fee and how does it work?

A Re-Stocking Fee is when a Seller charges a fee to the Buyer for the cost to re-stock the goods in the event a Buyer returns goods shipped on an order.

Right now, Bay Supply only allows Sellers to include a Re-Stocking Fee on Quotes and they can specify the amount they wish to charge in the event of an RMA to return goods purchased by a Buyer.  The Re-Stocking Fee amount is usually based on a percentage of the price paid by the Buyer for the goods purchased on the original order and it is deducted from the order refund amount.
